The Podz Lifestyle concept was born out of the need for a specific space to conduct a specific task, or activity away from maddening crowds… without actually having to leave. Initially, the cell phone pod was conceived to provide businessmen and women with a quiet and private space within a public environment in order to conduct a call, charge a mobile phone, send a voice note, SMS, or email. Out of this, the concept of various pods such as the office pod, housing pod, and classroom pod emerged, highlighting that many areas of life require a space removed but not away from the environment in which we find ourselves.
